Bupropion is a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Distinct from SSRIs. Used for depression, smoking cessation, and (off-label) energy, focus, and weight management. Less sexual side-effect profile than SSRIs.
Dose: 150mg XL morning, can titrate to 300mg if tolerated.
Caveats: Lowers seizure threshold. Avoid with eating disorders. Can be activating; don't take late.
