Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg) developed in Russia as part of the Khavinson peptide bioregulator series.
Mechanism — Proposed to penetrate cell nuclei and modulate gene expression in pineal-related pathways. Antioxidant and neuroprotective effects in animal models. Largely Russian and Eastern European literature.
Use case — Cognitive support, sleep-wake regulation, recovery from CNS stress. Typical oral or injectable dosing in short courses, often paired with Epitalon.
Caveats — Western trials are essentially absent. The Khavinson series has a dedicated following but a thin evidence base. Treat as experimental.
