Sermorelin is a 29-amino-acid fragment of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). The active portion of the natural GHRH molecule.
Mechanism: Binds GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary, triggering pulsatile release of endogenous GH. Preserves the body's own feedback loops, unlike exogenous HGH.
Use case: Most often combined with a GHRP (Ipamorelin or CJC-1295) to amplify the GH pulse. The 'Sermorelin + Ipamorelin' stack is a foundational GH-axis protocol. Subcutaneous injection, typically before bed to align with the natural GH pulse.
Caveats: Shorter half-life than CJC-1295 with DAC, requiring more frequent dosing. Best for those who want gentler, more physiologic GH stimulation.
