Thymalin is a polypeptide complex extracted from the thymus, part of the Khavinson bioregulator series.

Mechanism — Stimulates T-cell differentiation and maturation, modulates the Th1/Th2 balance, and supports thymic function which declines with age. Related to but distinct from Thymosin Alpha-1 and TB-500.

Use case — Investigational for immunosenescence, post-illness recovery, and as adjunct in chronic infections. Typical course is 5-10 mg intramuscular daily for 10-14 days, repeated.

Caveats — Russian/Eastern European clinical use only; not approved in the US or EU. Sourcing is the practical barrier. Synergistic with Thymosin Alpha-1 in some protocols.
